-watching my alma mater, rutgers, in the insight bowl... was in disbelief they were actually on tv. too bad we lost
-going to nyc for bridesmaid dresses on friday! woo hoo!

this was officially the most random entry done by not me, if you havent guessed. thanks for visiting. ironic, the person who wrote this entry really hates it when other people write random stuff on other people's xanga.

thought it was about time to update.  it's been a while.

i guess an update on my life would be a good place to start.  started grad school at penn for elementary education.  loving it.   i'd be lying if i said it was easy but it's challenging in a good way.  the best part about it is the kids!  i know that i'm going into the right profession.  it took me some time to get here but i believe that through the uncertainty, God has helped me learn to rely upon Him and realize what we do in life is for His glory alone.

thought i would share some pictures from my student teaching placement.  it's a school called Solis-Cohen Elementary School in Northeast Philadelphia.  they're 1st graders so of course they're adorable.  hope you enjoy!

last two pics are of kids that wanted to dance at the end of the day.  jahmir, the boy in the last pic, sure can dance.  i couldn't move like him if i had dance lessons.  guess some of us got it and some of us really don't got it.
